Procurement Specialist

We are looking for a self-motivated, experienced and proactive individual with passion for excellence and desire to contribute to the growth of our company.

The position reports to senior executives.

Procurement Functions:

• Negotiate contract terms with key suppliers to ensure value for money, quality standards and delivery terms
• Set department objectives and monitor ongoing progress and performance
• Manage Continuous Improvement of procurement processes and structure (strategy, methods, tools, etc.)
• Identify areas to improve business performance and optimization of opportunities to senior executives with written reporting
• Research, identify and provide analysis reporting on supplier profile during supplier selection
• Secure availability of resources and materials, achieve the required performance targets in terms of cost and delivery time
• Ensure that purchasing strategies and processes are in place to meet business objectives and operational needs in terms of price, quality and delivery targets
• Define pricing and contractual conditions, negotiate discounts and define terms of payment with suppliers
• Overall responsibility for Purchasing and Cost Estimating activities across the business
• Perform other tasks as required

Required Skills and Experience

• Degree in economics or engineering, ideally with a focus on purchasing or a comparable well-founded education
• Solid knowledge of supplier markets, suppliers, products, customer requirements and business intelligence within the hotel sector
• Excellent time management skills and ability to multi-task and prioritize work
• Attention to detail and problem solving skills
• Excellent written, verbal communication and presentation skills
• Proficiency in MS Office and Internet
• Authoritative, confident and able to maintain confidentiality
• Unwavering professionalism, resourcefulness and effective communication skills
• Professional level of English
