Join our international team as a Reception Manager.

Reception Manager responsibilities include:

  • Always provide a warm and friendly welcome to all our guests and visitors
  • Ensure excellent customer service delivery throughout the front of house functions in cooperation with the Department Managers
  • Leading, monitoring, motivating, and inspiring the team; providing guidance and support
  • Handle complaints and specific guests' requests
  • Ensure front desk is tidy and has all necessary stationery and material (e.g., pens, forms, and informative leaflets)
  • Implements ongoing development of skills and knowledge for the FOH team
  • To be fully familiar with regular and VIP guests
  • Act as an ambassador for the restaurant and help to market & promote all internal events
  • Plan rota's and ensure correct team member levels are on shift at any time
  • Building strong customer relations – develop positive relations

Job requirements

To be a successful Reception Manager, you should possess the following qualifications:

  • Proven 4 years of work experience as a Front Desk Manager or Reception Manager in upscale, high-end restaurant or hotel
  • Excellent knowledge of English. Knowledge of additional foreign languages will be considered as an advantage
  • Outstanding attention to detail, encouraging a culture of high standards throughout the team
  • Experience of working in a highly customer-focussed service delivery role
  • The ability to lead and develop a large, diverse team
  • Excellent problem-solving skills
  • Degree in Hospitality/Tourism is an asset
