Responsibilities:

  • Calculate the correct amount incorporating overtime, deductions, bonuses, etc. with assistance of a computer system
  • Receive approval from upper management for payments when needed
  • Prepare, execute pay orders and process taxes and payment of employee benefits
  • Administer statements of payment to personnel either electronically or on paper
  • Keep track of hour rates, wages, compensation benefit rates, new hire information, etc.
  • Address issues and questions regarding payroll from employees and superiors
  • Prepare reports for upper management, finance departments, etc.
  • Work under pressure and manage a large volume of employment contracts (1,000+, often changing)

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Business Administration
  • 3+ years progressive payroll experience is required
  • Fluency in English
  • Proficiency in MS Office tools, as well as ability to quickly learn other computer applications
  • Adequate knowledge of EPR systems, Pylon and Ergani Information System
  • High knowledge of Greek legislation and regulations
