Consultant / Senior Consultant – Internal Payroll (Finance Department)

We are currently looking for enthusiastic team-player to join our dynamic and highly motivated Internal Payroll & Finance practice in Thessaloniki.

Your role and responsibilities

Your role as a Consultant / Senior Consultant will focus on supporting all payroll activities. Your goal will be to carry out all payroll procedures with accuracy while following internal procedures and meeting strict deadlines.

During your tenure as Consultant / Senior Consultant you will demonstrate and develop the ability to:

• Prepare full year payroll calculation cycle;
• Prepare and submit of ERGANI documents;
• Handle employees' payroll related queries;
• Record all payroll related booking entries in a timely and accurate manner;
• Prepare and submit of payroll tax and social security filings (e.g. FMY, APD);
• Process and follow up payroll and employees' benefits;
• Collect, assimilate, and analyse data and use standard processes and tools to help surface and support solutions for solving problems;
• Apply technology knowledge to address business challenges;
• Manage periodical and ad hoc reports regarding employees’ payroll and benefits.

We expect that you also have strong interpersonal and organizational skills and the ability to work effectively within a team.

To qualify for the role you must have:

• 2-5 years of relevant work experience in Payroll, preferable with an International firm or a large organization;
• Bachelor’s degree in Economics, Accounting, Business Administration or related disciplines;
• good knowledge of ERGANI information system;
• good knowledge of Greek Insurance and Labor law;
• excellent command of the English language;
• a professional approach, business acumen and strong communication skills;
• strong sense of responsibility and ability to handle confidential information;
• computer literacy;
• Tax and Accounting Data Analytics skills (will be considered an asset).
