Head Barwoman

We are looking for a young, dynamic, self-motivated Head Barwoman who wants to move her career forward. As a Head Barwoman you will oversee the running of the bar, from managing the team and ensuring they provide a pleasant customer experience, to serving customers and dealing with administrative tasks. As a Head Barwoman, you will be part of the F&B team. We work every day to improve and learn, while we have committed to continuous training and personal development of each member of the team.As our people are our greatest asset, we’ve got to have strong people who are passionate about what they do.

What is the challenge?

• Acting as a source of knowledge when suggesting spirits, cocktails and other craft beverages
• Assisting guests regarding menu items in an informative and helpful way
• Having full knowledge of beverage lists and promotions, menu items and preparation methods
• Following all safety and sanitation policies when handling food and beverage
• Ensuring the smooth operation of the shift through customer focused service delivery
• Conducting on the job training in accordance with the departmental standards and procedures
• Demonstrating service attributes in accordance with company standards
• Demonstrating understanding and awareness of all company policies and procedures relating to Health & Hygiene
• Operating cocktails, long drinks, signature cocktail lists as needed
• Preparing drinks by following recipes and preparation techniques for different drinks

To be successful in this role, your experience should include

• Experience in a 4 star or 5 star boutique hotel environment
• Excellent command of the English language, both spoken and written
• Ability to focus attention on guest needs, remaining calm and courteous at all times
• Ability to work cohesively and collaboratively as part of a team
