IT Help Desk

Our Client

Based on Athens, our client is an Educational Organization active in the field of high-quality professional training.

The Role:

We are looking for a competent IT Help Desk professional to provide fast and useful technical assistance on computer systems, hardware, and software.

The main role is to manage, maintain the Moodle platform and to serve the trainees on technical issues arising from the use of the platform they make during the seminars.

The main duties of this role include:

  • Manage system administration activities for Learning Platform Moodle (e.g., create online courses based on specifications provided by the instructional design and media team, design instructional materials such as online courses, e-Learning modules, webinars, develop quizzes)
  • Install, support, and configure Software – Hardware
  • Support internal training for project on-boarding, set-up, and management
  • Provide Remote User Support solution ensuring optimizations at various levels (Help Desk)
  • Stay up to date on the latest trends and emerging technologies within the online learning industry

Qualifications include:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology or another Hot Tech-Skills Diploma
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Advanced knowledge of help desk software and remote-access systems
  • Strong drive to provide excellent customer service
  • Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office 365
  • In depth working experience of Google Workspace such as Google Sheets, Google Drive etc.
  • Experience of managing Email Providers
  • Knowledge of Network Topology, Domain, VPN and Wireless Networks in order to troubleshoot and resolve software issues
  • Proven working experience with Windows PC in a corporate network environment
  • Advanced experience with Moodle platform is considered a strength
  • Knowledge of SoftOne ERP will be an asset
