Job Description:

u-blox continues to expand its efforts in positioning technology with a focus on building positioning products for safety-critical applications such as autonomous driving and flight. The Positioning Product Center is chartered with ensuring that u-blox positioning products not only remain at the forefront of positioning technologies, but also becomes a key player within safety-critical systems like autonomous vehicles. Our vision is to offer a positioning technology that is so reliable, accurate and easy to integrate that it will become a key player within systems asking for high accuracy, integrity and safety.

Would you like to help us achieve this vision? As the Requirements and Configuration Manager you will report to the Team Lead Functional Safety Program Management. You’ll support the Product and Development Teams on question regarding requirements, traceability and configuration management. This includes to maintain meta structures in our tools as JAMA/JIRA used for RE and CM, doing trainings, supporting with reviews and spot checks through all phases of the development of safety relevant products and ensuring the quality and traceability of the necessary work products of ISO26262 and ASPICE on a formal level.

As the successful candidate you have at least 5 years of experience in requirements engineering/ management with standard tools as Doors/PTC/Jama in the automotive industry including also safety related products. You have a strong business acumen and wish to pursue a career in RE/CM management in a technically challenging environment. This position is primary located in Athens office (optional other places are Thalwil office or Tampere office).

Your Responsibilities:

• Support Product and Development Teams to create necessary standard work products for ISO26262 and ASPICE in a formal correct way
• Support Process Improvement regarding documentation and tools
• Adapt Jama and other tool meta structure based on change requests to improve efficiency and standard coverage
• Create necessary reports and metric scripts for communication and monitoring
• Review and spot check different documents to identify weaknesses in processes and execution on a formal base on all levels of development (Product Specification, Safety Concepts, Design Documents, Test Specs etc.)
• Fluent in English (both written language and orally)
• Supporting the development teams to improve the processes and document structure

Your skills and experience:

• Degree in Science in Electrical or Computer Engineering or equivalent experience
• At least 5 years of experience as RE/CM in an automotive environment
• Highly proficient in spoken and written English
• Knowledge of ISO26262 requirements on documentation/configuration management and traceability
• Experience in automotive standard tools as Doors/PTC/Jama
• Writing Reports in Birt/Velocity/Jama Templates (or any other)
• Create appealing training material
• Excellent communication skills to development teams, be able to communicated problems and weaknesses in a constructive/corporative way
• Work permit for the location (country) of interest
• Bonus Points
• Experience in a ASPICE environment
• Experience in Managing Jama Data Types/Relations/Reports
• GNSS Background knowledge
